| 6/16/2012 11:00 AM | Oakland County Parks and Recreation is proud to partner with Lathrup Village for BBQ Battle--a BBQ ribs cooking competition on June 16 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. The battle is part of the Michigan First Summer In The Village festival June 16 & 17.
BBQ Battle is limited to 24 teams on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fee is $35 per team. Check-in is 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Competitors may use wood, charcoal or gas. Submit ribs to the judges at 3:30 p.m.
