Food Safety Hotline offered by Michigan State University Extension Service, provides current accurate research information for consumers. Questions and concerns regarding food, nutrition, food safety, and food preservation can be answered.

The Waterford Oaks Greenhouse was acquired by Oakland County Parks and Recreation in 2009 and offers year-round gardening through a Community Garden program and education programs, as well as group tours and field trips. The greenhouse is located on Scott Lake Road between Dixie Highway and Watkins Lake Road, in Waterford.

The Oakland County Market, also operated by Oakland County Parks and Recreation, offers fruits, vegetables, flowers and more, direct from local growers to you. The market is located on Pontiac Lake Road near Telegraph, in Waterford.
