Have you implemented "Green" technologies?

In addition to paper recycling throughout County buildings and offices, Oakland County is working to develop recycling programs with Royal Oak Waste to recycle plastic bottles.

The North Oakland Household Hazardous Waste Consortium (NO HAZ) provides household hazardous waste collection events for 12 member communities.

The Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC) provides safe disposal of household hazardous waste to the following municipalities: Farmington, Farmington Hills, Novi, South Lyon, Southfield, Walled Lake, Wixom and Lyon Township.

The Southeastern Oakland County Resource Recycling Authority (SOCRRA) provides safe disposal of household hazardous waste to the following municipalities: Berkley, Beverly Hills, Birmingham, Clawson, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Lathrup Village, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak and Troy.
