Oakland County Parks & Recreation, Water Resources Commission, Planning & Economic Development, Health, Waste, and Michigan State University Extension Services all work together to coordinate Environmental Stewardship and Conservation efforts across the region.
Serving citizens, business, local organizations and volunteer efforts, conservation efforts in Oakland County are the result of partnerships and cooperation.
Our strategy includes facilitating connections across the region, among businesses, organizations, government, and educational institutions to strengthen our core mission as a steward of the environment. Our responsibility is to that environment and ensuring that the quality of life it provides us, is paid back with its continued protection and responsible development.
