Community Profile
The City of Northville is a distinctive community that is divided equally between two counties. Located on the Oakland/Wayne border, this 2.2 square-mile community features a vibrant downtown, scenic neighborhood and is home to 6,500 residents.
Northville maintains a small town atmosphere with stately Victorian-era architecture in its historic district and well kept older homes built before the 1930s. Northville’s downtown district features specialty shops, galleries, theaters, restaurants, businesses that are situated among preserved landmarks. The city boasts five city parks featuring tennis courts, playscapes, picnic pavilions, baseball diamonds, soccer fields and a concession stand at Millennium Park. Additional recreational amenities include the Northville Art House, the Mill Race Historical Village, two dog parks and the Maybury State Park.
