Rotary Park

In cooperation with Oakland County Parks and Recreation, Springfield Township and Lopez Engineering, the Davisburg Rotary, Divine Mercy Knights of Columbus and others volunteered and have replaced the current pedestrian bridge at Rotary Park in Davisburg.

The eight-foot wide by 22-foot long bridge runs along Davisburg Road providing safe pedestrian access for residents into downtown Davisburg.  The bridge crosses the stream flowing from the Davisburg Mill Pond into the Shiawassee Basin Preserve.

Fundraising efforts for bridge maintenance now include the opportunity for residents to place an inscription on the boards of the new bridge.  What better way to celebrate the life of a loved one, commemorate a special family event or honor a business associate than to share the beauty of nature?

The cost is $50.00 per inscription and includes 60 characters in two lines, on a 24-inch by 5.5-inch section of bridge planking.    Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law; consult your tax advisor for information.  Click here for the Rotary Park Bridge Inscription Order Form.
