Community Gardening at the Greenhouse
The Waterford Oaks Greenhouse offers gardening year-round with indoor and outdoor garden plots. The interior Community Garden is truly one of a kind and provides a venue for avid gardeners during the winter months. The sense of community and social interaction is one reason gardeners return year after year.
The growing season for the interior Community Gardens begins in mid-September and runs through mid-April. The exterior Community Gardens growing season runs from mid-May through mid-October.
Lease a garden plot at the Waterford Oaks Greenhouse! The cost is $150/plot for the interior community garden and $120/plot for exterior community gardens. Fee includes garden plot, use of dumpster, shovels, rakes, hand tools and restroom facilities; plus use of water and access to educational programs.
