Lyon Oaks in Wixom, preserves 800 acres of environmentally-sensitive wetlands within a 1,041-acre park.
Park features a 13-acre, fenced dog park with approximately 6 miles of trails for biking, cross-country skiing and on-leash dog walking.
Day-use area includes picnic shelter, playground and recreation fields.
Daily park pass or Annual Vehicle Permit required; available at the park attendant booth, self-serve kiosk and available in the pro shop. Annual permits are also available online at oaklandcountyparks.com, the Waterford office, or the South Parks Office in Southfield at Catalpa Oaks.
Paved pavilion with picnic table seating for 75 people. Nearby playground, restroom facility, open green space, walking trails, volleyball, horseshoe pits, and soccer and cricket fields. Access to pavilion and park does require a daily park pass or annual vehicle permit.

Lyon Oaks County Park is certified by the Michigan Turfgrass Environmental Stewardship Program.
