Rose Oaks

Rose Oaks Park preserves 640 acres of gently rolling open meadows and wooded uplands, including approximately 200 acres of valuable wetlands and frontage on several glacial lakes within the site.

  • Park is undeveloped; fishing is allowed
  • Non-motorized boats and electric-motor boats are allowed; carry-in only
  • Approximately 5 miles of trail accommodate hiking, recreational bicycling, equestrian, and cross-country skiing (ungroomed) uses

Approximately 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, or as posted at entrance.

Designated parking areas on Fish Lake Road and Buckhorn Lake Road include direct fishing and carry-in boat access.

Please be advised of ongoing construction traffic through 2015 of the Richardson Trail Loop as park staff complete trail upgrades at Rose Oaks County Park.
