Trail Updates
Oakland County Parks and Recreation is constructing natural areas accessibility improvements as part of a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grant at Rose Oaks County Park. Improvements include the development of universally accessible boardwalks, trails, fishing piers and a wildlife viewing platform.  Anticipated completion of Phase I of this project - sections  A, B and J is summer 2013.  Also, please expect temporary, intermittent closures of some trails extending from the Fish Lake Road parking lot during trail construction beginning April 2013.  Click here for a PROJECT MAP

*Please note that the Buckhorn Lake Road parking lot and fishing access points will be closed during construction of these improvements.  The main parking lot at Fish Lake Road, will remain open.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work on these exciting recreation improvements!
