Oakland County Parks and Recreation has completed the majority of Phase I of the natural areas accessibility improvements project at Rose Oaks County Park. The approach to the boardwalk/fishing pier on Cogger Lake will be completed by Spring 2014.
Partially funded by a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grant, the park now features universally accessible boardwalks, trails, and fishing piers. Refer to the PROJECT MAP referencing improvement locations.
Starting in fall 2013, the southeast portion of the Richardson Loop trail will be closed for Phase II of new trail construction.
