Light up the Night will kick off with the Guy Louis Family Concert from 7-9 p.m. Following the live music, there will be glow games and activities, glow putt putt, crafts for kids, night insect program and T-shirt printing (bring a plain, dark-colored T-shirt). Astronomers will be on site with telescopes if weather permits.

Walk-N-Roll for Spina Bifida is a fun, community event that raises awareness of Spina Bifida and celebrates the accomplishments of over 166,000 Americans living with its challenges. Proceeds support local programs and services for all affected by Spina Bifida. This non-competitive event will be held in the Paradise Pavilion area.
Orion Oaks Park/Day Use; 6/13/2015 9:00:00 AMSpecial EventsOakland County Parks is giving away free wood chips at Orion Oaks County Park from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The wood chips consist of assorted types of wood collected from pruning and storm damage. Bring shovels or pitchforks, wheelbarrows and buckets. All wood chips must be manually self-loaded into pick-up trucks and small trailers with a tarp. No commercial haulers allowed. Orion Oaks County Park is located at 2301 Clarkston Road in Orion Township.
