This initiative, which began as a partnership between Farmington Hills Parks & Recreation and Oakland County Parks in 2007, is gaining momentum and spreading like wildfire.

We encourage everyone, whether you’ve camped before or not, to spend the night outdoors in your designated community park or in your own backyard.  Learn everything about camping at a Great Oakland County Campout event in your community this summer.
