Walking and biking are heart-healthy activities that encourage family communication and offer opportunities for outdoor learning.

Walk, jog, skate or bike miles of natural and paved trails at Addison Oaks, Groveland Oaks, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks, Lyon Oaks, Orion Oaks, Rose Oaks and Waterford Oaks. 

Addison Oaks and Independence Oaks were recently named one of the Top 10 best family-friendly places to hike by MetroParent Magazine.

Dogs are welcome on trails but must be on a six-foot leash at all times (unless inside the dog parks at Lyon Oaks, Orion Oaks or Red Oaks).  

Equestrian trails are also available at Addison Oaks, Highland Oaks and Rose Oaks.

$5/hour

Specialty Bike (Addison Oaks, Groveland Oaks)
$5/half hour plus $10 deposit
